The Vashon Lacrosse Club greatly appreciates the generosity from all our supporters for the 2008 season. The time, energy and donations have helped make our lacrosse program successful and available to more Vashon youths than ever before. We are looking forward to another great season in 2009 and the continued support of our community.
The Vashon Lacrosse Club is seeking applicants for a Coaching Fellowship for the 2009 season. Interested candidates can download the information sheet from our Forms and Docs page. The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate with college lacrosse experience and have an interest and enthusiasm for working with young lacrosse players. We are looking for an individual who can bring and teach up-to -ate competitive lacrosse techniques. Our previous Coaching Fellows played their college lacrosse at Utica College, University of Virginia and Syracuse University.
Michael Hall has been nominated and awarded Assistant Coach of the Year! Michael was selected and awarded this honor by his peers, all the other coaches in Division I. Michael will be presented with his award this Saturday, May 17th at the Washington State Lacrosse Finals between noon and 12:30pm. It would be great to have a good representation from Vashon Island to support Michael and cheer him on!
Thanks to everyone for helping to put on another successful Mentor/Mentee dinner. The Varsity Players really stepped up and did a great job interacting with the younger players.

April 19th is also the last home game for the 5/6 players, game time is 1:00 at the VHS Soccer Practice Field, hope to see all our Varsity Mentors there.
